Thank you for approaching the National Theatre of Scotland with your research and development or theatre production proposal.

In the first instance your approach will be considered by the Artistic Team with the following criteria in mind: the quality of, and our excitement about, the idea, the track record of the artist or company and how well your project fits in with current programme priorities, programme gaps, available resource and timescale.

If your project is something that we feel we can support in some way, we will connect you with the staff member best placed to move your request forward. It is unlikely we will be able to provide support for immediate or short term ideas as we are often planning our programme two years in advance.

We will try and provide you with as much detail as we can about our decision, however due to the volume of approaches we receive this may not always be possible.  Please note we have meetings dedicated to artistic approaches once a month so our response may take a little bit of time.
